Our Coconut SAP Sugar is derived from Coconut grown using natural farming methods, which does not involve chemical fertilizers or pesticides. Unlike any regular sugar, Farm fresh coconut sugar is high in nutrients and low on glycemic index.
Coconut sugar can be used as regular sugar substitute or also a energy tonic. The process begins by harvesting the sap, which is also called “toddy” or “nectar,” from the flower buds of the coconut palm.
Sap is collected either in the morning or evening when it’s most abundant. Coconut Sap (Neera) is reduced until water evaporates to form syrupy liquid, then its dried to form Nutty granules.
